Typically, between 4 and 6 sessions will be required. For tattoos, more sessions are usually required as they are more deeply ingrained into the skin. Gaps of 4 to 6 weeks between sessions are recommended, to allow time in between for the skin to heal.

Yes, the light targets the hair roots or tattoo pigmented skin, and is safe for the skin.
Some patients experience temporary redness or sensitivity following the treatment, which disappears after 24 hours.
No recovery time is needed but your skin should be protected against strong sunlight and you should avoid scrubbing the treated area.
Following each treatment, the hair will start to grow back weaker and weaker until after the last treatment no hair grows back. Likewise for tattoos, after each session the appearance of the tattoo reduces.
After the required number of treatments have been carried out, the hair will not regrow and tattoos are permanently removed.
